EDNA E. GRIFFITH BARTON , 74, of Memphis, died Thursday at her home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and a former employee for the old Chickasaw Ordnance. She was a secretary from 1953 to 1955 for Joe Curtis, Paul Coppock and St. John Waddell, editorial writers for The Commercial Appeal. Mrs. Barton , the wife of Hugh W. Barton , also leaves a daughter, Sandra Gibbs o f Melbourne, Fla.; a son, Hardy Barton of Germantown, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
