Graveside funeral services were held at Timber Ridge Cemetery last Friday for Archie L. Beach, 76, who died in a Tulsa hospital. Born in Dalton, Ga., the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Palmer) Beach, he attended school in Checotah, Okla., and was associated for 21 years with Trinity Industries prior to retirement in 1977. For 21 years, he was a member of the Draggin' Wagons Camping Club. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Durnal of Catoosa; a son, Michael Beach of Killen, Ala.; a sister, Jessie Pierce of LaMont, Calif., and a brother, Beamon Beach of Oregon; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Beach was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Bryant Beach. (Catoosa Times-Herald, March 25, 1992, page 6)
