Wm and Lilly H Murray McCarrell (McCarroll) were the parents of Thomas McCarrell, Samuel McCarrell, James W. McCarrell, William P. McCarrell,Worth McCarrell, John Frank McCarroll, Mary McCarroll, Matilda, McCarrell, Margaret McCarrell, Texanna McCarrell. The parents were born near Tuxedo, NC where James Murray family are buried now. They moved with James Dugan Murray, Lilly's brother to Morgan County, Missouri. They owned land and late in 1859 or 1860 they sold their land and moved on to Grayson County, Texas. The reason is obvious for History buff's and that is that during this period the Border Wars in Missouri and Kansas were making people very nervous and there was so much violence so this family who were Southern leaning moved to Grayson County which was a Confederate area.
