CHICKASHA – Graveside services for John James Wooster, 68, of Garland, Texas, will be at 4p.m. today at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Chickasha with Rev. Pheron Diehl officiating.
Wooster was born March 29, 1917 in Fort Cobb and died Monday in a Garland hospital.
He moved with his family to Chickasha at an early age and graduated from Chickasha High School.
He lived in Chickasha more than 50 years and in Garland since 1968.
Wooster married the former Roberta Jackson in September 1936.
He was a member of the First Christian Church at Garland.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Mary Tison of Hendersonville, Tenn.; two sons, David of Oklahoma City and John of the home; his mother, Clara of Healdton; two sisters, Jean Harlow of Juneau, Alaska and Lorraine Rubottom of Healdton; a brother, Charles of Lindsay; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Burial will be under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home in Garland.
