Ralph Roland Richardson, 84, of Spring, Texas, passed away September 13, 2011. He was born January 22, 1927 in Harper, West Virginia to the late Edward and Elizabeth Shorter Richardson. He is also preceded in death by his wife Ellen Jane Richardson; daughter Joyce Gail Hyatt; brother Cecil; sisters Ora, Gay, Daisy and Violet. Ralph is survived by his sons Roger Richardson and wife Kathy, Robert Richardson and wife Sylvia, Rick Richardson and wife Dorothy; mother of his children Margaret Uccardi; sister Edith; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; special friend Fran Ward; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ralph served in the United States Army during World War II and was proud from being from West Virginia. Hunting, fishing and camping were some of his favorite pastimes.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 16, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Graveside services are set for 10:30 A.M., Monday, September 19, 2011 at Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
