Orville Turner, 86, Springfield, MO, passed away at 11:17 p.m. March 31, 2004, in Cox South. He was born June 20, 1917, in Turner, MO, the son of George and Nettie Turner. Orville owned and operated restaurants, sold everything from cars, siding, encyclopedias. Worked at Ye Ole Buggy Bath and drove a bulldozer for his nephew at George Turner Construction.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Orville is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son and his wife, James Lee and Dorothy Turner; a daughter and her husband, Molly and Bill Altic; a step-son and his wife, Duane and Jennifer Willis; two step-daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Bill, and Diane and Gary Bachman; four grandchildren, Sonya, Brian, Julie and Steven; five step-grandchildren, Daniel, Chris, Trevor, April and Nikki; six great grandchildren.
