MELISSA G. SUTHERLAND

AMITY, Mar. 25 - Melissa Gertrude Sutherland, a former resident of Aumsville, passed away at the Salem Memorial hospital March 18.

Survivors include the widower, Arthur, three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Townsend of Turner, Mrs. Margaret Fry and Mrs. Mary Harmon, both of Aumsville, two sons, Bert of Amity and Edwin of Powell Butte, a sister, Mrs. Rose Homedew of Mack, Colo., three brothers, Jim Hall of Belvidere, Kan., Frank S. Hall, Venita, and John D. Hall of Linslaw, and fourteen grandchildren.

Services were held at the Howell-Edwards Chapel, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. and interment was in the IOOF cemetery No. 2 in Eugene.
