Mrs. James McAlpine, of Harpersville, a suburb of Lonaconing, died yesterday morning after an illness of six days, aged 62. In addition to her husband she leaves the following children; Stephen and Walter McAlpine, Cleveland, Ohio; Alexander, Mrs. Isaac D. Scollick, Mrs. James Patton, Detriot, Mich.; Misses Emily and Minella of Lonaconing. Also these brothers and sisters: Joseph Nichols, Benjamin Nichols, James Nichols, Samuel Nichols, Mrs. Henry Powell, Riddlesburg, Pa., and Mrs. Isaac Cochrane, of Arizona. Mrs. McAlpine was a daughter of the late James Nichols.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery Sunday afternoon, Rev. Andrew Allen, pastor of tho Presbyterian Church officiating.
