Edward "Eddie B" William Baker, Sr. 62, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 12, 2011. He was born on January 4, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN to Paul E. and Mary J. Baker.
Eddie worked as shift supervisor for antibiotic fermentation at Eli Lilly, retiring in 1990. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
Edward is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Baker; daughters, Sherri Leeper, and Amy Baker; son, Stephen Baker; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Lowell, Marion, and Doyle; sisters, Marilyn, Hilda, Janie, and Connie.
He was preceded in death by his son, Edward William "Billy" Baker, Jr.
Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8pm on Thursday, September 15 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.
Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Edward will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
