A Plain City man was killed early Sunday when the car he was driving crashed into the rear of a trailer on I-15 near the 21st Street exit.
Gregory Ivan Floyd, 18, was dead at the scene, Utah Highway Patrol trooper John Danks said.
Floyd was northbound when he struck a trailer being towed by a car driven by Ronald J. Cestnick, 22, Rock Springs, Colo. Danks said.
"Mr. Floyd apparently never saw the slower-moving Cestnick vehicle," Danks said. There were no other injuries.
