Fred Bond Sr. Was renown as a singer and as a leader of Christian music.

He led the choir at Avondale Baptist Church.

He led revivals in churches throughout the eastern United States. He would form several choirs form small children to adults and they would perform the most beautiful music during the revival.

He printed cards with BBB on them and a row of notes to be punched. each child got a card and each night they sang at the revival, he punched their card. If all notes were punched at the end of the week, the child was recognized for his or her attendance.

The "BBB" stood for "Bond Booster Band"

He sang solos and led the congregation in singing in churches everywhere..

His obituary was titled." Singer Dies"

He served in WWI in France, around 1918
