Surviving are his wife, Sarah Abram; sons, LaRay Williams and Ellis J., both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Mary F. Tabron, Judy Hinton and Monica Abram, all of Fort Wayne, and Marcia Jackson of Fort Meade, Md.; brothers, Eddie and Tommy, both Columbia, Miss., and Joe of Somerset, N.J.; sisters, Dorothy J. Crumedy of Gary, Barbara J. Shappard of Greenville, Miss., Darnell Lee of Columbia, Miss., Lula Howe of New Brunswick, N.J., Carla Tucker of Somerset, N.J. and Hazel Lee of Saginaw, Mich.; and 12 grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1331 Gay St. Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
