J. Freddie Rewis, 45, died Tuesday of last week in Memorial Medical Center after a short illness. The Florida native had lived in Savannah a number of years before moving to Hagan. He was a Baptist. He was employed by Georgia Pacific in Ellabell. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lynda Rewis of Hagan; two daughters, Mrs. Wendy Shuman of Pembroke and Sonya Rewis of Hagan; a brother Oscar Rewis, Jr. of Collins; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Nadean Smart of Fairbanks, Alaska and 4 grand children. Nesmith Funeral Home. Burial in the Anderson Cemetery.
