Dec. 31, 1883, she was married to Frederick Wilson Baker and to this union four children were born; three of whom survive.
Her grandchildren are Dr. F.W. Baker, Douglas Baker, Mrs. Marion Baker Smyth, Dr. Homer Baker, Dr. John P. Olson, Janet Olson and Patricia McGill Gillespie. She was also blessed to have known her fifteen great-grandchildren until five years ago.
Mrs. Baker maintained her home in Blanchardville where she had been privileged to live more than seventy years.
Drop thy still dews of quietness,
‘Till all our strivings cease,
Take from us now the strain
And stress,
And let our ordered lives confess
