Mr. Homer George Biggers 85, of Monroe, died November 24, 2001 at the Hospice House in Monroe. Born February 18, 1916 in Cabarrus County, he was a son of the late James Edward and Nancy Elizabeth Coggins Biggers. Mr. Biggers was a World War II Veteran, a graduate of Bethel High School, retired foreman of Charlotte Pipe and Foundry and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday at Memorial United Methodist Church by Reverends Mike McLelland and Hugh Biggers. Burial will follow in the Lakeland Memorial Park.
Mr. Biggers is survived by his spouse of 63 years, Cyiable Biggers of the home. He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
