Robert Eric Anderson, born to Eric Algot and Dorothy Anna Wilson Anderson on November 8, 1927 at Women's and Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and passed away peacefully on the evening of September 9, 2011, in his home, surrounded by his family.

Graduated from East High School, attended University of Utah, graduated and apprenticed from Salt Lake Community College (Utah Trade Tech) and Eimco Corp.

Drove truck for Southeast Furniture, employed as a butcher by Safeway, in construction with Utah Construction, R.M. Jensen, and with Griffith, Garnett and Carmen. Master Machinist and Tool-maker for Eimco Corp. and EDO Corp Retired January 30, 1998.

Faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Served as a missionary in the Central States Mission, many years in the Kearns North Stake High Council, Bishop in the Kearns Thirteenth Ward, Area Representative, many years as a Gospel Doctrine Sunday School teacher.

Married Ruby Felicia Bobbitt in 1951 (she died in 1968), married Carol Alberta Baum in 1972 (she died in 1995), married Joyce B. Berntsen in 1996.

Survived by wife Joyce; children Robert A. Anderson (Barbara), David L. Anderson (Wendy), Kathleen Jensen (Kevin), Ilene Beck (Kelly), Marci Fernandez (Jared), Victor Colvin, Jill Colvin, Cathy Jensen, Candace Jensen, and Chris Jensen; brother Boyd D. Anderson (Alice); sister Dorothy Biehn (Norm); Jim Bills (brother-in-law), Sharon Keddington (Robert), and their families; including thirty-five grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; two wives; sisters Beverly and Marjorie; sons Mark Wayne, Michael, and Curtis; daughter Jerrie; and granddaughter Casey.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Park Third Ward Chapel, 4825 West 7000 South. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, and one hour prior to the services.
Interment at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
