Graveside services for Carl A. Cole, 67, Fittstown, were today in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, with Rev Don Simpson officiating. Mr Cole died Saturday at his home.
He was born 3/5/1911 in Pauls Valley and came to Fittstown 7 years ago. He was a teacher and school adminstrator for 37 years, retiring 10 years ago and was also employed by Naturalization and Immigration Services in Texas.
He and Elizabeth "Toots" Smith were married 11/29/1933 in Newcastle. He was a member of the Texas State Education Association and a former Mason.
Survivors include his wife of the home, a son, Ronald of Stillwater, a daughter, Carla Beth Schaefer of Fittstwon, a brother, Earl of Watts, Ok., a half brother, A.G. Hamilton of Pauls Valley, a sister, Ruth Shoemake of Tulsa, and 5 grandchildren. Eisenhour Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
