History of Wolcott, Conn. Joseph Anderson 1874 provides the following information regarding Streat Richards:
1. He was among a list of freemen named on September, 1800.
2. He was a Selectman serving in 1796-1802, 1805, 1807-1809; and a town Moderator in 1809.
3. He served on numerous committees during his time in Wolcott.
