In 1820s, she gained popularity performing in roles known as Dejazets and finally she became manager of the Folies-Déjazet Theatre. She continued to perform into her mid 60s, retired in 1868 and then took a touring company to London's Opera Comique, in 1870. She died at age 77 in Paris, France.
