William Keller joined the Delaware State Police, January 1, 1969, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

Though his lifetime was short as a trooper, he was devoted and very dedicated, not only to his profession but, also, to his family and friends.

Delaware State Trooper Keller was killed in an automobile accident while en route to an undercover assignment in Dover. His undercover vehicle was struck by a garbage truck on US 13.
