Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein, Rev. Patrick Lloyd, S.C.J. will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
He was born Dec. 29, 1934 in Kloten, Wis., son of the late John and Rose See Thuecks. He was a 1953 graduate of New Holstein High School. On May 21, 1955 he married Donna Flynn at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein.
Jerry was a semi-driver for 30 ½ years for Clairmont and for the past eight years for ABF of Sheboygan. He was involved with the New Holstein Athletic Club where he coached and played for many years. Jerry will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, brother and his many friends. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; seven children, Jeno (Martha), New Holstein, Steve (Deb), Brillion, Dave (Jane), Wiske-Thuecks, New Holstein, Mike (Marnie), Menasha, Lori (Greg) Schreiner, New Holstein, Lisa (John) Cohen, Appleton, Lina (Todd) Zylka, Fond du Lac; 16 grandchildren; two brothers, Roman (Judy) Thuecks, Elkhart Lake. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Tyler James.
