Claud D. Bryer passed away on September 12, 2011 at the age of 72. He was born June 9, 1939 in Brownwood, Texas to George and Dessie Bryer. He was a resident of Aransas Pass since 1972 and was owner of "I Top It" asphalt.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Macey Bryer.

Claud is survived by his wife Lucy Bryer; daughter Dolline Sampson (Mark) of San Angelo, Texas; brothers, Norman Bryer (Brenda) of Yale, Oklahoma, Eugene Bryer (Judy) and Eason Bryer (Carol) both of Forgan, Oklahoma; sisters, Wanda Williamson ( Robert) of Woodward, Oklahoma, Linda Steele (Dale) of Offerly, Kansas, Lila Bethea (George) of Houston, Texas, Mamie Oaks (Porky) of Granbury, Texas, Connie Acker (Bennie) of San Antonio, Texas, Bonnie Acker (Kirk Philbrick) of Cleveland, Texas; sister in law Margaret Pickett of Baraboo, Wisconsin; grandson Brandon Sampson of San Angelo, Texas; nieces and nephews, Charmin, Tracy, Misty, Waylon, Amanda, Jessie, Justin, Dale Jr., Melissa, Eason Jr., Delila, Astel, Andrew, Harold III, Mary, Bennie III, Eugene, Tommy, Cody, Bill, Joe Jr., Crystal, Lenoard, Robert, Travis, and Andy; several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. Thursday, September 15 and Friday, September 16, 2011 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Prairie View Cemetery.
