Carolyn Elizabeth Blalock Rogers - SAVANNAH - Carolyn Elizabeth Blalock Rogers, 87, of Savannah, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at her residence, under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was born in Claxton, Ga., and was preceded in death by her husband, William Odis Rogers, and her parents, J. Melton and Matie Blalock of Claxton, Ga, her brothers, Alvin, Leonard, Aaron, and Edward Blalock. She was a member of Faith Primitive Baptist Church, where she was President of Faith Fellowship Circle, and she served as Pianist for the Church for many years. She worked for the City of Savannah for 32 years, serving as Supervisor of Ceramics, for Leisure Services.

The family would like to thank Hospice Savannah and their professional staff, and volunteers for the extraordinary care provided. Visitation: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 at Fairhaven Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Funeral Services: 12 p.m. Tuesday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
