∼Cyrus Little was the youngest son of furniture maker William Little and his wife Elizabeth Steele Little of Anson County North Carolina. Cyrus became a carpenter and married Mary Rebecca Davis and had six children before he enlisted in the GA 3rd Volunteer Infantry in 1861. Cyrus fought with General Lee at Sharpsburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg and continued in service and was present at the surrender at Appomattox Courthouse in 1865.He returned to Georgia to live a full life with his family.
