Pastor Albert E. Clark, 94, died on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Calvary Fellowship Homes. He was the son of the late John and Catherine Fieler Clark and the devoted husband of Dorothy Ruffin Clark for 68 years.

He was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia and attended the University of Pennsylvania for 2 years and graduated from the Bible Institute of Philadelphia.

He was employed by the Philadelphia Gas Works for 44 years as a manager of seven district offices. Following his retirement from PGW, he was ordained and served as Associate Pastor at Davisville Baptist Church of Southampton, PA for 10 years. After moving to Lancaster, he served for 6 years as Chaplain at Calvary ­Fellowship Homes.

Albert trusted Christ as his Savior at the Pinebrook Bible Camp when he was 21 years old and his life was never the same. He committed his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and invested his life in faithful service to Christ. He was a member of the Millersville Bible Church. He loved to travel with his wife and spend time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his warmth and godly ­wisdom.

In addition to his wife, Albert is survived by his daughter, Jean MacPherson; his son, Robert B. Clark; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Ann Cloues.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Calvary Fellowship Homes, 502 Elizabeth Drive, at 3:00 PM. Friends and family will be received between 2:30 and 3 PM at ­Calvary Fellowship Homes. There will be a private interment in Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster.
