____Yorba, Jack Marvin, 83, died in Chula Vista, CA., on Sept. 12, 2007 after a long illness.
Jack was a descendent of Jose Antonio Yorba, who came to California from Spain in 1769 with the Portola Expedition California.
Jack was born Nov 1, 1923, in Anaheim, where he lived until he joined the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ben and Edna Yorba; brother, Bernardo M. Yorba; nephew, Jamie Yorba. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois; 3 stepchildren, and 9 nieces and nephews.
