ROBBIE WATSON HADLEY, 81, Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2004, in the North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton.
Born on September 26, 1922, in Marion County, she was the daughter of Elmer Lee and Erulla Carlton Stone. She was a retired manager of the senior citizens meal site, and a member of Easter Star and Hamilton First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Erie Watson, Elton Sudduth and William (Bill) Hadley; two sons, Elmer Lee and James Michael Watson; step-mother, Retha (Kerr) Stone; two brothers, Hugo Owen Stone and Elmer Gene (Preacher) Stone.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 1, 2004, at 2 p.m. from the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Smyrna Cemetery.
Louis Coker was the officiating minister.
Survivors include daughter - Myra Loy (Lewis Coker, Fulton, MS; son - Erie Wayne (Loretta) Watson, Hamilton; four grandchildren - Lewis Dalton (Donna) Coker, II and Michele Lynn (Phillip) Taylor, both of Fayette, Lisa Arleen (Jason) Rye, Hamilton, and David Wayne (Leslie) Rye, Leesburg, IN.; eight great-granchildren - Ryan Keith Taylor, Kyle Lewis Coker, Lindsay Arlee Rye, Kayla Michelle Coker, Amanda Michele Taylor, Lori Elizabeth Rye, Jonathan Matthew Rye, and Brett Leeann Watson; three sisters - Ruby (Fulton) Glass, Vina, Florence Milazzo, Birmingham, and Geneva Guillot, Hamilton; two sisters-in-law - Jimmie Lou Stone and Geraldine Stone; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Kyle Lewis Coker, Ryan Keith Taylor, David Wayne Watson, Jason Rye, and Phillip Taylor. Honorary pallbearer was SPC Lewis D. Coker II.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
