LEXINGTON - Robert Joseph Small Sr., 81, Lexington, died March 3, 1991, at a hospital in Lexington. He was born in Wellington, Mo., and lived in Mayview, Mo., before moving to Lexington in 1966. Mr. Small worked for the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant before he retired in 1971. Previously he farmed near Mayview. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lexington. Survivors include three sons, Forrest L. Small and Robert J. Small Jr. of Lexington and Walter M. Small, Higginsville, Mo.; two daughters, Mary C. Wallace, Lexington, and Ruth Ann Cary, Osceola, Mo.; a sister, Lettie Duffett, Lexington; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church; burial in the Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Walker-Nadler-Graff Chapel, Lexington, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the church memorial fund.
