Mr. Ernest Randolph Dudley, 69, of Dawsonville, died Sunday, Aug. 5, at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda.
He was the husband of Emily Allnutt Dudley, his wife of 46 years.
Born Sept. 10, 1931, in Washington, he was a son of the late William Randolph and Mary Elkin Dudley.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Mary Owen and husband James C. of Mount Airy, and Barbara Herald and husband Michael W. of Frederick; one son, Edwin Dudley of Dawsonville; one sister, Ada Dudley Candor of Ohio; two grandchildren, Michael and Pamela Herald of Frederick; two nephews, James Candor and wife Lee Ann of Pennsylvania, and Robert Candor, his wife Jennifer, and their children Ross and Kathleen Candor, all of Ohio; and one niece, Mary Haley and husband John of Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville. Funeral services will be held there at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. The Rev. Florence Ledyard will officiate.
Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
