My 3rd great-grandaunt, Elizabeth (Betsy) Baker, was born about 1797 possibly in MD.
There is no record of her being married. She was employed as a Seamstress and in 1821 was living with her Uncle Isaac at Hanover St, Baltimore, Baltimore City, MD. All of this is from letters she wrote to her brother Nathaniel in Missouri.
Her father, Manning Baker, was head of household and she was probably the female identified under the age of 10 listed in the 1800 Federal Census of All Saints Parish, Calvert Co, MD. Her brothers: Nathaniel, born 5 Jan 1798 and Issac born about 1800 are not identified as being in the household so there may be an error by the enumerator.

Note: Many of the older gravesites have no markers, broken markers, or the markers have been tipped over. In some cases, the stones are face-down, and largely covered with grass. If looking for a specific grave, it is advisable to look up other nearby names in the LovelyLane.net site, to assist in figuring out which row you're on -- they're not marked at the cemetery.
