"Both are probably buried at the Rockaway, New Jersey cemetery. Dates unknown."

Jacob Palmer has a cenotaph (definition: an empty tomb for a person whose remains are elsewhere) in the cemetery in his son's plot. His marker is a military marker. He was a private in the Revolutionary War – deceased in 1790. We have no information on his wife Phebe.
