At the ripe old age of 93 years, 8 months and 25 days, Mrs. Elizabeth Hausman (nee Kern), a life-long resident of Hoffman's, passed away at her home Wednesday night at 10 o'clock. She was born in Washington township and was the oldest resident in that vicinity. Death was due to senility. her husband, Jonas H., preceded her in death 31 years ago. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Charles Fenstermaker and Miss Salinda Hausman, Hoffman's; Mrs. John Blose, Ballietsville; and Mrs. Benjamin George, Slatington; two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Deibert, Walnutport R. F. D., and Mrs. Lewis Hankee, Rextown; also by 31 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
