Father: Samuel French (1715-Unknown)

Although there is no supporting documentation, it was said that Silas was the son of Samuel French. It was also said that he became deranged and went to the Insane Asylum in Concord. He apparently lived in the same house as the Kendrick family on Patch's Corner. This house seemed to have a tragic effect on its occupants as the Kendrick's too had much depression and insanity.
