Mr. Buck died Thursday in Ball Hospital. He apparently suffered a heart attack. He was born in Jamestown, Tenn., and moved to Muncie in 1950. He was an employee of Dayton-Walther Corp. for the past 16 1/2 years.
Mr. Buck served with the Army during the Korean War and was a member of Eagles Lodge and United Auto Workers.
Surviving are his wife, Ann (Bright) Buck; four sons, Robert Buck, W.A. Buck, Jr., John Richard Buck and Norman Lee Buck; two daughters, Tammy and Debbie Buck; three brothers, Jasper, Perry and Henry; two sisters, Edna and Alma; and two grandchildren.
