The remains of Mr. Edmund Roach, sr. old gentleman some 70 years of age, were brought in from Fairfield on the noon train today and interred at the Catholic cemetery. He was a brother of Mr. Thomas Roach, of this city. A number of relatives accompanied the body and many old friends here followed the remains to their last resting place.

Edmund Roach, an old and esteemed citizen, died at his home three miles north of Parsonsville. The deceased was in his seventieth year and the interment will take place at Pleasant Plain to-morrow.
