DEATH OF A PIONEER.
Mrs. P.J. Hurley Passes Away in Her Seventy Third Year.
Mrs. Cornelius Hurley died at her home five miles south of town shortly after nine o'clock this forenoon. Death was the result of an attack of pneumonia of which she had been ill but a few days. The funeral will take place from St. Alphonsus church at ten o'clock Friday forenoon.
Mrs. Hurley was one of the pioneers of the county, and held in high regard by all who knew her. She was seventy three years of age. She is mourned by her aged husband, and seven children, Misses Bee and Kate and Dan who are at home, C.E. and P.J. of this city, Mrs. John Brown of Jackson township and Mr. J.F. Hurley of Creston.
