Business Magnate. He was an inventor and founder of the Coleman lantern company in Wichita, Kansas at the beginning of the twenty century. The Coleman lantern and later the Coleman stove became very popular with campers, and both were used extensively by the military during World War II. The Coleman company, and name has developed a world wide reputation for producing quality product. Many of these products can be found today in use around the world.
