William Riley Smallwood, 83, retired farmer and service station operator, died at 7:45 o'clock Tuesday (January 22, 1963) night at Oswego Hospital.
Smallwood was born July 20, 1879, in Douglas Cunty, Mo. He came to the Bartlett area 25 years ago. For the past 15 years he has lived in Bartlett.
Survivors include two sons, Harry, Chetopa, and Roy, San Francisco; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Dabalos, Worland, Wyo; two brothers, Tom, Kimberly, Idaho, and Ben, Mountain Grove, Mo; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Chaney, Mountain, Grove, Mo.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Conrad Mortuary at Chetopa.
