Jennifer Lynn Ross was born September 7th 1971 and went to be with the Lord on her 40th birthday on September 7th 2011. Jenny is loved and missed by her family and friends. She had a special gift of love for everyone she met. Jenny is survived by her father, James L. Ross, mother, Deborah Donaldson, sister, Janet Crabtree (spouse; Chuck, sons; Alexander & Hunter), brother, James L Ross II (spouse; Tanya, son; Ethan), grandmother, Anna Ross, aunt, Linda Burris, uncle, Jack Ross, cousins, Lisa Griffith, & Kim Clapham and many more relatives and friends. Jenny received enduring love & care from her father, James, grandmother, Anna and her late husband Norman.
Jenny looked forward to her birthday all year long. She would begin planning each year's party the day after her birthday. In the end, Jenny fought her lengthy battle until the family sang Happy Birthday to her, opened her presents and ate cupcakes and celebrated her special day. She peacefully went to the angels for her birthday in Heaven.
Jenny enjoyed watching TV, listening to country music, dancing, bowling with her friends, playing computer games and talking on the phone for hours to friends and family. She loved being with her dad, who took her everywhere with him.
Jenny bravely battled neurofibromatosis since birth. She suffered multiple strokes, heart attacks, kidney removal and vision loss, all without uttering a single complaint. The Ross family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Nationwide Children's Hospital and Dr. Juan Sotos and his staff. They provided Jenny with a lifetime of care and support. In addition, we would like extend our sincerest gratitude to the staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital for their gentle and thoughtful care in Jenny's final days.
