US ARMY - KOREA

TOWER CITY - William L. Erdman, 81, of Clarks Valley Road, passed away Wednesday at the Tremont Health and Rehab.
Born in Gratz, October 9, 1929, a son of the late Harry and Edna Willard Erdman.
He was an Army Veteran of WWII.
Bill retired as a Tile Setter with the union out of Harrisburg.
He was of the Protestant faith, a member of the Tower City American Legion.
He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also raised Trotting and Pacer Horses.
In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his brother, Clifton Erdman.
Surviving are his wife, Rhoda Hoffman Erdman of 60 years, two sons, David Erdman and his wife Mary, Hershey; Ricky Erdman and his wife Jane, Allentown; two grandchildren, Laura Wiland and Brendon Erdman; a great granddaughter, Ashley Wiland and one sister, Marie White, Monhnton.
Memorial services will be held Monday, September 12th at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will be at the convenience of the family with military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Multiple Sclerosis Association, Central Pennsylvania Chapter 2040 Linglestown Road, Suite 104, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
