Mrs. Mort (Lillian) Harris, 202 ½ W. Main Street, a lifelong resident of Freeport, died in a Rockford sanitarium early today, February 8, 1960. The former Lillian Snyder was born in Freeport July 15, 1886, the daughter of Seth and Anna (Billerbeck) Snyder. She was educated in local schools and was married to Mort Harris in 1912. For many years she had been employed at the Billerbeck Bakery. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. There are no immediate survivors.
Service will be in Scharz Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Thursday with a requiem mass in St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. John Daleiden, pastor, will celebrate the mass. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call at the mortuary after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
