Robert graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1957. He worked at Montgomery Wards for 36 plus years in retail sales and management. His attention to detail and his charismatic personality was a major part of his success in achieving several awards throughout his career. His passion for life included Western scene paintings, landscaping, cooking and old cars. He was the proud owner of a 1965 Pontiac LeMans.
Robert was a member of the National Pontiac-Oakland Car Club for several years. He was also a blood donor through American Red Cross.
Robert was joined in heaven with his parents; beloved wife, Patricia, of 26 years and brother Gary Dent.
Robert is survived by: daughters, Michelle Roberts, Lori Hanson (Charlotte Grasso) and Robyn (Dan) Paulsen; brothers and sisters, Sandra Badura, Richard (Bette) Dent, Kathy (Butch) Stacey, Teresa (Mike) Cordes, Bill (Marie) Dent, Randy (Shari) Dent, Mike (Peg) Dent, Debra (Mike) Campbell, Chris (Darin) Dierberger; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
