PASSING OF MRS. HALEY
WIDOW OF THE LATE TIMOTHY HALEY PASSED AWAY LAST EVENING
Was Eighty-Six Year of Age--Has Resided in This County for Upwards of Sixty Years--Funeral Saturday.
Mrs. Mary Haley, the widow of the late Mr. Timothy Haley passed away at 10:45 on Wednesday night at her home on South Jackson street after suffering a stroke of paralysis on Saturday. The deceased was born in Kerry County, Ireland, in 1829 and came to this country when she was but 18 years of age. She had resided in this county ever since coming to America. In 1858 she was married to Mr. Timothy Haley and he passed away last July. To mourn the loss of a loving mother, four children are left i.e. Mrs. J.E. Mehl, of this city; Miss Katherine Haley, of Des Moines; and Messrs Morris and Dennis Haley, both of this county. The funeral services will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic church on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock.

FUNERAL OF MRS. HALEY
Many Friends Attend Funeral Services Held This Morning
The funeral services of the late Mrs. Timothy Haley were held at the St. Alphonsus Catholic church this morning and were largely attended. Solemn Requiem Mass was sung by the children's choir and the pastor Rev. M.M. O'Loughlin preached an impressive sermon. The pall bearers were Messrs John Hanafy, John Fitzpatrick, Dennis Morony, Harry E. Virden, W.P. Baker and Fred Williams. Interment took place at the Catholic cemetery.
