RICHMOND - Sarah Jane Lash, 87, of Richmond died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
Born May 4, 1912, in Steubenville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rena Bucy Zook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Lash, four brothers, Napoleon, Thomas, Linwood and Abraham Zook; and four sisters, Rena Drayer, Ida Beckett, Ruth Lash and Martha Hannen.
She was a member of the Gospel Hall in Steubenville.
Survivors include three sons, Clark of Bergholz, Doug of Richmond and Richard of Daybrook, W. Va.; three daughters, Sarah Wickham and Mrs. William (Linda) Batton, both of Richmond, and Mrs. Harold (Deloris) Taylor of Wintersville; a brother, Daniel Zook of Bloomingdale; two sisters, Gladys Testa of Wintersville and Priscilla Davis of Hopedale; 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Dale Vitalas officiating. Burial will be in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
