Oshkosh (WI) Daily Northwestern, Wed., Oct. 16, 1935, Page 11: "MENASHA RESIDENT DIES AT HIS HOME

"Menasha - Herman Blank died at 2:25 o'clock this morning at his home, 220 Lawson street, Menasha. He was born in Germany, Feb. 26, 1861, and came to this country in 1883, settling at Readfield. He lived there until 1910 when he moved to Menasha.

"Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Moder of Dale, Mrs. A. Anderson and Mrs. Esther Poquette, both of Neenah; seven sons, Albert and Arnold of Menasha, Oscar and Charles of Neenah, Alfred of Milwaukee, George of Philadelphia and Elmer, who is in the United States Navy, now at San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Julius Blank of Readfield, 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

"No arrangements for the funeral have been announced."

"Neenah - Funeral services were held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at the home, 220 Lawon street, Menahsa, and at 2 o'clock at Immanuel Lutheran church for Herman Blank. The Rev. E. C. Kollath officiated and burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery."
