Flint Soldier Dies In West
Frank P. Ackerman Succumbs at Lynn Sanatorium; Body Brought Here
Frank P. Ackerman, 32 years old veteran of the World War, died in Fort Lynn, Col., Friday, according to a message received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Ackerman, 1332 Glenwood-av.
Mr. Ackerman was a graduate of Flint Central High School and a member of Kappa Beta Chapter, Beta Phi Sigma fraternity. He had been employed in Union Trust and Savings Bank prior to his enlistment.
Surviving besides his parents are three brothers and two sisters, Ernest of Lansing, William of Detroit, Herbert of Saginaw, Miss Minnie Ackerman of Detroit, and Mrs. Laura Sandersfield of Clio. Herbert Ackerman and Miss Ackerman were with their brother at the time of death.
The body is expected to arrive Sunday evening and will be taken to his late home.
