Jean Frances (Hunter) Shelton, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at the age of 86. She is survived by four children and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Shelton, parents James L Hunter and Lula M. Hunter; and brother James W. Hunter, of Mt. Vernon and Bluford.
She was an active member of Grace Methodist Church for 50 years and a past officer of Epworth Children's Home in St. Louis.
The funeral service was at Grace Methodist Church on Aug. 17, and burial was at Sunset Cemetery in St. Louis.
