Betty J. Rotruck, 81, of Rt. 1, Burlington, WV, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at her residence.
Born on April 4, 1925 at Keyser, WV, she was a daughter of the late Guy Filmore and Sarah Ann (Nash) Liller. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Junior Liller and two sisters, Virginia Stickley and Ruth Hancock.
Mrs. Rotruck was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a 1943 graduate of Keyser High School and was a member of the Sunnyside Church of the Brethren, New Creek, WV.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Dewey Vance "Junior" Rotruck, Sr.; two sons, Dewey V. Rotruck, Jr. and wife Linda of Morgantown, WV and Donald Ray Rotruck and wife Cheryl of Romney, WV; three daughters, Patricia A. Taylor and husband Robert of Burlington, Virginia M. "Mary" Donohoe and husband Brandon of Winchester, VA and Sharon L. Everett and husband Paul of Millersburg, PA; two sisters, Anna Lee Bennett of California and Beulah Kammann of Baltimore, MD; a special niece, Glenda Catron and husband Robert of Perry Hall, MD; a special nephew, Jeff Pyle and wife Rose of Burlington; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Wednesday, December 27 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Thursday, December 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James "Sonny" Dodds and Rev. Herman Baliles officiating.
Interment will be in the Knobley Cemetery, Martin, WV
