John Perry Michael

John Perry Michael aged 87 years, the father of W.T. Michael of Fay Street, this city, died at his home near Fairview Sunday after an illness of a few weeks. He was a life long resident of his community and a highly respected citizen.

Mr. Michael was a son of the late Daniel Michael, one of the earliest settlers of the Monongahela Valley.

He is survived by five sons and two daughters, Henry M., William T., Jackson, Norvall, Hetzel, Mrs. William Walker and Miss Margaret, all of Marion County, and by three brothers, David and Henry of Marion County and Phillip of Ohio. He was born February 22, 1836.

The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock this morning from the McCurdysville Cemetery by R. C. Jones.
