Kathleen "Kathy" Kennett Beck, 56, of Amarillo, died, Monday, Sept. 5, 2011.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Ponder, pastor of First Baptist Church of Bushland, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Kathleen was born Aug. 6, 1955, in Amarillo to Kenneth and Naomi Beck.

Survivors include her mother, Naomi Beck of Amarillo; three sisters, Linda Bennett and husbandGary, Joni Gonzales and Terri Orr and husband Mike, all of Amarillo; nieces and nephews, Angela, Kimberlee, Cory, Grace and husband Kyle, Brandon, Erica and husband Raymond, Jessica and Kameron; a great-niece, Brylee; and her special friends, Lisa, Cindy, Loretta and Shere.

The family suggests memorials be to the Special Olympics, Amarillo Chapter, 2400 Line Ave., Amarillo, TX 79106; or to Camp Agape, 3321 Lewis Lane, Amarillo, TX 79109.
